He is a dunner which means scales and spikes run in different direction and they have a certain pattern, his coloring will be very light with poss. lavender side bars and will probably get lighter as he grows. Silverback is a japanese patternless dragon.. Paradox means he can show a spot of no pigment kind of like a white birth mark that is from the translucent lines. Awesome dragon good luck.

Thank you Kathryn... I can already see Lavender side bars...And we have gotten a lot of comments on his coloration. I was told today by our local herp store that he is very healthy but slightly small for his age. He wont be small long if he continues eating as he does. So far today he has eaten 10 crickets, 2 meal worms, a tomato worm and salad.

He really is a cutie and will be very pretty once all grown up and yes they sure do grow fast.. Word of caution mealworms contain chitlin in their shells that make them very hard especially for young beardies to digest and can cause impaction issues. I would suggest small superworms instead. It can be hard to make sure that young dragons are really hydrated making passing of mealworms easier, so it's better not to feed them.
I only got them to give as the occasional treat no as a staple. His staples are dubia's and crickets. He has been getting bathed in warm water every other day and is pooping one a day. I will look into small superworms instead. He is not a huge fan of crickets and it takes him FOREVER to eat them.. 10 mins or so for every 2 you put in. He wont eat anything smaller then 3 week old crickets either. The small ones he hunts but doesnt eat. We got him a hammock yesterday that he seems to really like.
