Luci has never liked any hides in his tank. The other day I came across this at Petsmart. I liked it because it was a hide but also because it's heavy and he can't push it around his tank. Well, he's sort of using it as a hide LOL!

Awww hopefully just sleeping.
So far just sleeping. He climbed out of it this morning and ate. When I got home from work he ran around the house for an hour. Now he's back in it with his head sticking out. It's funny how much he likes it. I would get Dexter one but she definitely can't fit her chubby butt in it!

I love the new hide!! I saw one like that at petco and thought about getting it.. but didn't as I got 2 half logs, a large bark piece for basking and a half cinder block...She's in a 55 gal kinda waiting to see how she develops and see what all she likes..
Dexter has the half logs and will even wiggle under her biggest one. Luci didn't have much in his tank because he outgrew his branch and just kept moving it around. I've been having a hard time finding something he can't move. I found this at PetSmart.

I have to go into town tomorrow to get a filter for my fish tank so I'll check them both out for some other hides for Izzy. I try really hard to keep things as natural as possible for any of my pets. I know when she gets to be full grown I'll have to take some things out of her tank but for now things give her cover.
I just can't wait to see what her personality is going to be so far she likes to snuggle at night
I can hear her scratching at the tank so I go in there and she's on her back feet staring at the doorway So during the evening time she sleeps on my chest/shoulder in-between this sash type fleece I sewed together. She is very curious and alert and gaining weight nicely. So your's run around the house for periods of time?? I guess I'm still getting used to dragons...I don't know that Izzy will be allowed to do that as we have a American Bulldog who's just over a year old and well she's very curious, not to mention the 3 cats
I want to make a outside enclosure for her to catch some rays and be able to explore a bit as for now she's limited to being on my shoulder.
We have three rooms that are connected and not a lot of things they can get under so we let them run around. Luci usually goes right back into his room and climbs the shelf and sits under his tank, I call it his man cave. Dexter mostly climbs on the couch so he can't get to her. She's my snuggler and will just be happy sitting on my shoulder. He's more of a wild card. Sometimes if he is real tired he'll fall asleep on me but most of the time he just wants to find a corner somewhere.
