Hey All,
Got a weird issue with our new little guy, he won't eat worms, I have tried BSF, Crickets and even meal worms they are all very small and everytime he sees them he runs away like he is scared. I have tried hand feeding and still won't eat them. I can assist feed him by putting the worms in his mouth and he will eat them no problem but I'm afraid if I keep doing that he will never learn to eat them on his own. I have has him since the end of May and he's only 17g...he was only 6g when I got him. He eats greens on his own. I have also tried dried worms and pellet food, and won't eat that either.

Thank you for the suggestion...At this point I'm willing to try anything...I just can't keep feeding him anymore.
Put them in a shallow dish, sometimes they manage to piggy back and climb up to escape but if you sit there and knock them back in, im sure the movement of them scattering around will entice him without them crawling everywhere and maybe scaring him, that way its in his own time. I hope he munches them up, let us know how you get on!

Update!!! So if anyone was interested I finally got the little guys to eat ON HIS OWN!!! Turns out he is just picky and doesn't like meal worms or BSF's. I found this out because this moring I heard scratching on his tank and couldn't figure out why. The little guy looked like he was trying to glass surf but to my surprise he actually was trying to get to a little beetle on my dresser he saw in front of his tank! I could not believe it. I immediately went and got him some small crickets and he ate over 20 of them!! By himself...I now have dubia roaches on the way and hope he eats those too! Thanks for all of all of your help!
