Brought home our first adolescent beardie today. He is pretty docile and seems to have adjusted well to new surroundings and ate well at home. This evening his poop had a small tinge of blood as he was finishing. Is he dehydrated or could it be something else?

What has he been eating? Anything red like red peppers? What is his setup like? Lights? Substrate? He looks underweight to me. We’ll see what the pros say...

Just brought him home today. They were giving him greens and crickets only. Just got him setup in a 40 gal with UVB and basking lights. Have reptile Moss mat substrate.

He looks a bit dehydrated and looks a bit under weight.. Maybe give him a few hornworms which will help with the dehydration and some nice juicy dubia or crickets if that's what you prefer.
