New beardie

Hello,

Here are some pics of my new beardie. Bought her almost 3 weeks ago at petsmart. They said she was 8 weeks old. I'm going to measure her today, I haven't done that yet. They said she was a "fancy" bearded dragon but if anyone has more info to offer than that, it is appreciated.

I'm calling her a she...of course it is unknown at this size, but that was the best guess of both who checked

Welcome!! Fancy is just a common word they use for the most part they are just normal bearded dragon.. he/she is a cutie!

Thank you! She did have very different ridges/feel to the "regular" ones they had in a different tank. But who knows. I just loved her personality on the spot after handling several, so the rest didn't matter that much to me, was just curious. Excited to join the forum!

It's possible it may be part leatherback? I'm not the one to ask about the different types...Still is really small so could change a bit still a cutie

Welcome! I have a Petsmart "fancy". That's a term they use when the beardie is different from the normal ones but they don't know why My girl was fancy because she's citrus and she is hypo, meaning she lacks black pigment, all her nails are clear.

Your's looks like some sort of leatherback. Can you do me a favor? Can you take a picture of just her tail from the top side? I want to see the markings
