Just wanted to share and say hi! New beardie mom. I've been wanting a beardie for a while now and we finally took the plunge and rescued the last little baby left at my local PetSmart. Only had him a few days but we're so in love. So far so good. We have him in a temporary enclosure as we plan to build a 4x4x2 for him, but he's only a month old right now.

Welcome- the most crucial thing for the dragon is correct surface basking temps taken w/ a digital probe thermometer- 105-110- uvb No coils- long tube fixture properly placed for the screen on the tank - not all uvb's are of good quality as well- no colored bulbs of any kind- solid clear bright white basking bulb
