hi here! We just got our first beardie from someone who could no longer care for him. He is about a year and a half, and we call him Eugene. We've had him for a couple weeks, and he does great with eating his crickets and roaches (both gut loaded), but he almost never touches his greens. We've tried a variety of greens and fruits as well, but he just looks at them. We've fed him greens in the morning without bugs and bugs in the evening. Any advice on how to get him to eat his veggies?

You could try tossing a couple superworms, silkworms or horn worms into the salad. Sometimes the movement is enough to grab their attention and get them eating. Sometimes it just takes time and patience. Eventually they get curious and try them.

Young dragon's will typically eat just bugs during their growth stages but just keep offering the greens/veggies and you can feed your feeders especially the dubia the greens and when your dragon eats them they get the nutrients in a round about way..
and also good advice from Eavlynn about putting them in the greens may help..

Also, hornworms have sticky feet so if you put a few of those in the salad dish from time to time their feet will stick to the greens. When your dragon eats the hornworm he will get a mouth full of yummy salad as well. The more experienced users on here taught me that and it works great
