Hello everyone, I recently had just purchased a juvenile fancy bearded dragon (Conor) from Petsmart and was just curious if anyone could let me know what you think. I plan to take him to the vet shortly but just wanted some outside opinions as well. I appreciate everyone's thoughts and help!

Needs to be fattened up and hydrated. Have vet check for parasites. Wish these pet chains stores did not sell such tiny/young dragons. How is it eating? Good eater? What are you feeding it? Good looking dragon!

We were looking into a beardie rescue but none ever got back to us and I couldn't wait any longer, I feed him small crickets everyday, usually around 3 to 4 a feeding which I normally do 3 times a day, and then I try and give hime some Kale every other day. There are days he goes right after the crickets and then some days he doesn't seem so interested. I've been trying to give him a bath every other day as well to clean and hydrate him, I've heard mix reviews on misting your dragon, so I've tried to stay away from that.

You can take a eye dropper and put a drop on his nose, often they will lick it up when it runs down.

Make sure you give him something other than kale, it binds to calcium. Healthier options are collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens. Check out the website beautiful dragons.com and look up their nutrition chart.
