Hello everyone, I got my first Bearded dragon three days ago and the first two days I fed him until he stopped eating (he only ate like 10-15 crickets both days) and today he is not eating at all. He looks like he's gonna start shedding soon but he's only two months old and I feel like he should be eating more since he's a growing boy. Thank you!

They will go thru relocation stress so it could be that but MOST IMPORTANT is the basking temps and UVB --- temps need to be 105-110 NO stick ons use a digital probe thermometer place where he sits for basking -- next the UVB needs to be a long tube fixture NO coils they are NO good and inadequate ---- you would need a 24" fixture for a 40 + gallon tank - Zoo Med Sunblaster Nano or a Arcadia Pro T 5 ---- w/ a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 or a Arcadia 12% bulb -- let him acclimate to his tank and surroundings but please get the basking temps and UVB in order to help him acclimate to the tank --- he needs to adjust to his surroundings as well --- the temps and UVB will control his over all health and behavior -- Need more help please ask --- shedding can contribute to the not eating but relocation stress and improper lighting will effect it more

Make sure you have the correct distance for the UVB they require certain distances and placement for the UVB --- T 8's are different from T 5's
