I might just be over thinki bg this or something, but my new beardie, got him or her on Thursday night, got it set up, and let it settle in. Fed them Friday morning and he/she ate just fine, 12 baby crickets and a few pieces of greens in the morning. Another 8 to 10 crickets that night. Yesterday it ate both meals given, about 10 crickets in the morning and 8 or so in the evening with about 3 or 4 small pieces of greens. I'm terrified that it isnt eating enough greens for the age (3 or 4 months based on size) and definitely isnt getting enough greens. Earlier today it ate about 12 baby crickets but only interested in a few tonight and a piece of cut up greens. I'm worried it isnt eating enough or something is wrong. My temps are right (105 to 70 gradient with basking spot), lighting timing is right at 12 to 14hrs a day. It did poop both yesterday and today, not runny at all. It likes being handled and isn't skiddish with us at all. When it sleeps at night after lights go out, it is like it is dead, scares the heck out of me, lol. It does bask a lot, most of the day. I don't know if this is all due to the stress of rehoming or something, I did a lot of research but of anyone has some tips that would be great.

Sounds about normal, you can try a variety of greens, add some bee pollen, maybe a blueberry or two once a week. Try carrot tops etc. I mix mustard, collards, turnip greens with carrot tops, a bit of yams, bee pollen powder, hibsicus flowers etc.

I've been switching between collard, turnip and mustard greens. I did give him a soak tonight and that perked him right up, he was super active for a while until the light went off for bed time. I'm thinking he's just still too young for too much greens and has no real interest in them yet. I just don't feel like he's getting his 20% of greens a day.

What I do is give a salad every day, but live food only 5 days a week. 2 days in a row with no crickets, worms or roaches. On the second day the salad is usually 80% gone by the time the lights go out.

Babies tend to not eat their greens right away, it takes some time but keep offering something. Make sure that you are gut loading your crickets with the same greens that you are feeding your dragon. It makes the crickets more nutritious!
