New Bearded Dragon Help

Hello,
I am very new to the Bearded Dragon Nation.
I recently purchased our first dragon (Phenix) a couple weeks ago for my daughter. This week we noticed this on her tail and was wondering if anyone knows what it is. It is somewhat dried out like a scab as are the scales around it. I’ve been told it may be yellow fungus but I’m not sure yet. Can anyone provide me some info before I decide to take it to the vet?
Any info or help would be much appreciated.

That kind of looks like some stuck shed. I don't know for sure though. @Silver dragons might know though. I've never dealt with anything like that before. I was at first thinking tail rot, but now that I'm looking at it, it does not look like it. Plus, tail rot starts at the end of the tail.

Yes it defintly isnt tail rot, but i cant quite tell what it is.
