Hello to all just want to post my first baby beardie. I'm new to having a baby bearded dragon. But I'm not new to bearded dragons. Ive been building a custom enclosure for the past two weeks leading up to the local reptile expo. Where I purchased a male Red Citrus Trans baby (he's looking very dark right now just brought him home today) . So here he is and my enclosure.

Im about to build one myself. Ill be getting the supplies this weekend. 4'x2'x6' overall. It will be a stacked unit two enclosures on top of a cabinet base. Im going to put tile in the bottom but im not sure if I should leave them loss or not.

I'm curious about the kind of wood and thickness used? and if you sealed it? I don't know if sealing is a must because beardies don't like humidity anyway but I use a water bowl and I know he drinks from it and occasionally throws a fit and spills it haha

The thickness was 3/4" and it was wood for shelving I just liked the pattern in it. I bought it from lowes. And yes I stained and sealed it with a water base sealer only on the inside.
