Welcome home Lola! I got this baby from my friend who gave me the honor of keeping her dragon since she works too often and has crazy dogs and a cat. She seems so happy here and she eats her greens too! She’s acclimating well and I had woken her up on accident for this picture, hence why she’s sleeping in her salad. Look at that belly! She will be a lot more happy when her Zen Habitat gets here :)

Hi the tank is not bright at all and very small hopefully your new enclosure gets here quick. She needs UVb and heat the clear zoomed bulb for heat and the Reptisun 10.0 T5 for uvb and replace the uvb every 6Mnths. The length U order should cover 70 percent of the tank. Keep both lights on for 10-12 hours in the winter and in the summer 12-14 hours. All lights off at night. Never ever use colored or coiled bulbs. Also she’s way too fat; do not feed mealworms it’s fatty and unhealthy stick to crickets, dubia roaches and the greens/veggies. Also she needs a fleece blanket and a hideaway/hammock. Here’s a sample

She has a ReptiSun T5 linear UVB light and a ReptiSun Basking Bulb that is 150 Watts. Her basking spot is generally between 99-105 and she has one side of the tank where there are no lights at all so she can escape them. That side is in the 75-80s range.

Her Zen Habitat will be here within the month but she will do fine in this tank temporarily while she is acclimating. I get her out frequently to bond and run around etc. so she isn't locked inside of it all day long.

Please make sure u do healthy greens & veggies. The best is mustard greens & yellow squash has lots of calcium which they need. The following jsit are the best everyday ones: mustard greens, collard greens, dandelions, yellow squash, butternut squash, endives, snap peas, & green beans. Do a mix of 2-4 per day. And how old is the Beardie? If he’s over a year yes feeding proteins every other day is good. But if the beardie is younger then a year 7mnths or older he needs proteins everyday and under 7mnths he needs proteins 3 times per day.
