Hi , I have a question that I know someone can help me with . My dragon is about 2-3 months old and I had her for about two weeks and I handle her everyday either to bathe her or during tank cleaning or feeding and she still wouldn't let me pet or pick her up without a fight. Am I doing something wrong or does it just take more time for her to calm down.
Thanks again
BERNIE

Give her some time, she'll come around. When you pick her up make sure you are scooping her up from the front rather than picking her up from overhead. Put one hand under her front side and gently support her back legs with your other hand avoid going over her head with your hand. They have a sensor on top of their head and when you put your hand over it they think there is a predator coming overhead to eat them!

that is easier said than done, she will jump all over the tank even when I slowly come from the front. I guess I will have to wait a little more to see if she calms down with age.
on another note I was able rescue a dragon from Petco last night he is under a year old came with tank and acc. and is tame as can be. now I have a pair in separate tanks I an really enjoying them.
Thanks again,
BERNIE
