This little one is only a few weeks old.
Need to check if he looks healthy.
He eats 2 -3 baby crickets a day or some meal worm guts but we have to feed him with the food held by tweezers. Doesn’t like any veg or salad stuff
He gives himself a bath each morning and then poops in it.
I’m wondering if the black is food staining?
Has has a heat light and UV strip light.
Any advice will be helpful

Ok man he is so tiny -- we need to make sure his husbandry in on par to keep him eating - hes going thru relocation stress so his eating is going to be off but we want those surface basking temps on par and the UVB properly placed and distanced - keep offering the salads and I want you to get him some BSFL order small www.symtonbsf.com put them in a bowl similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Reptile-Food-Bowl-Dish-Anti-Escape/dp/B07VRQ369N?tag=exoticpetnetw-20 it will keep the BSFL in - no meal worms the guts are fine but do not feed him those the exoskeleton on them is too harsh for babies -- please get a digital probe thermometer to get surface basking temps 105-110 place the probe where he sits for basking get temp you do not need to leave it there stick the reader and the wire for the probe wrapped around it when not in use - it will give you ambient temps as well -- next please tell me the UVB your using brand and bulb - look on the bottom of the writing on the bulb look for T 5 or T 8 this is going to tell me how I need to help you getting this properly placed and distanced - next what is the screen on the tank is it fine mesh like a screen door or a wide hole type?

The light is also 12% uv T5 tube
Ok your probes are good dial in your temp for 105-110 directly under the heat lamp - your ambient temp should be around 100 in that area - I dont recommend the brand of the UVB your using -I would look at getting a Arcadia Pro T 5 12% bulb 24 watt they are a way better quality bulb - your little guy will outgrow his hide by the time hes 5 months of age - also another good brand/ quality UVB is Zoo Med fixture w/ a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 or a Sunblaster fixture w/ the Reptisun 10.0 T 5 bulb - these are 24" fixtures I am suggesting - you dont want a UVB the same length of the tank --

Is this ok to feed a tiny amount of each day on a cricket or tiny piece of greens?

I wouldnt give him the booster - he needs as many crickets he can eat in a 10-15 minute time span and fresh salads offered daily- I would get some of the BSFL to lure him to the bowl and you dont need to dust those but the crickets should be lightly dusted 5 x per week w/ calcium D3 and 2 x per week w/ vitamins w/ beta carotene both supplements ONCE per day / feeding - drop those BSFL in the bowl right in front of him around 20-25 of them let him eat them first before feeding the crickets - is he eating now ? How is he doing?

He eats 1 or 2 crickets a day but I have to hold them with tweezers to entice him, he also has ½ a meal worms guts also held with tweezers. He will self bath and drink lots about 40mins after his lamps go on. He is definitely not interested in greens of any kind so I dip in the booster stuff to at least try. I reckon if I just left the food in a bowl for him to eat there would be zero interest. Yet he does a daily poop that looks normal and seems to be well enough… so do I just keep doing what I am doing for now? I got the calcium dust for the crickets too now.

He needs to be eating way more than 2 crickets per day -- how is the activity? Is he moving around exploring basking? Please watch the bathing he can aspirate -- he only needs water like once a week - watch his poops for dehydration - they should be formed dark and moist -- urate formed white and moist - any dry crusty hes dehydrated -daily baths is going to dry the scales out and its going to stress him out - I would get the BSFL and use them to lure him to the salad bowl -

He moves around a bit and we got him to eat 5 crickets lightly dusted in calcium powder, but still feeding by tweezers. His poops are fine. We did get a packet of BSFL they are not dried but not living either.pic attached. He is not interested in those at all, no form of encouragement. He takes himself to his basking spot in the morning and late afternoon goes to his hiding spot.
Thanks for all your advice, its very helpful.

I would recommend getting live BSFL -- they are interested in the movement that is what is going to get him to the salad bowl - or some silk worms - small - www.reptilianarts.com -- those are another good staple feeder - they also have BSFL -- the silk worms stick to everything so you can put them in the salad bowl - is the basking decor piece directly under the UVB 8-10 inches -

Thanks Sadie, he is basking at about 8-10 inches on his log. We live in QLD Australia so we are governed by what we can source locally. I will see if we can get other live produce. Seems to be increasing his amount of intake slowly up to 6 crickets and some meal worm guts.

Ok good as long as hes eating and basking and pooping hes good make sure hes getting water - offering once a week on his nose see if he will lick - they get their main source thru salads but if hes not eating them hes not getting much water -
