Hello everyone, I have wanted a bearded dragon ever since I worked a pet shop over 20 years ago. The beardies were the coolest of all the lizards we had because of that beardie personality- mellow but inquisitive.
I've had a lot of experience with snakes and have just ordered a dream home for my ball python. It still has to be made so it will take a few weeks but after it's in and he's settled in nicely I will refit the 20L he was in for a BD. It will take a week or two to make sure I have the temps right for a BD but after all that I will be getting my first bearded dragon!

I've read Philippe de Vosjoli's manual and have scoured forums and websites but I still have some things that I'm foggy about- mostly from reading conflicting information- that I hope to find help with here.

Do u breed your dragons? I'm thinking of getting a white hypo or some kind of color full morph. Would the hypos geans overpower the regular beardie. The male is the reg. And the morph would be the female. And could you recommend a good website to by a nice big enclosure. I have my adultbin a 36×18×18. Will he need something bigger

The hypo gene is not dominant, if you have a regular and want his offspring different you need to look into a leatherback or a dunner. Both traits are dominant and make the babies what they are.

Beadie dragons are a loner in the wild they dnt stay in groups of even pairs they cum togtha for mating and thats all. Even the mother dnt stay with the babies. A lot of ppl do do it with no problems. I personally wudnt. Vut that choice is up 2 u :)
