Hey guys
I recently adopted a 2 year old male beardie. I have another male that I bought as a baby. The new male hasn't eaten in the 3 days that I got him.....maybe 2 or 3 superworms and a few veggies but really not a lot. What can I do to make him comfortable enough to eat? Any tips on owning a new adult would be much appreciated!
Thanks!!!

Time is the biggest player. He needs to adjust to his new home and get through the relocation stress. Keep offering food, especially live insects that will grab his attention, dubia roaches are almost always a crowd favorite with beardies.

He is still hasn't eaten a lot? The previous owner said I must hand feed him but as soon as I bring a cricket near his face he will just close his eyes. I've given him a variety of fruits and veggies and it's also looks like he wil take maybe a bite or 2 and then leave it.
I'm getting worried.....but he stil looks healthy and nice and fat. He ate about 10 crickets out of my hand on Sunday but since then almost nothing! Bought roaches yesterday but no luck..

can you post a photo of your set up ? and maybe give us some particulars - what are the temps in basking spot? in cool end? does he have a hide? what is the environment out of the tank like? lots of noise (dogs, kids, music etc) ? can he see out of the tank on all 4 sides? how close is the other male? can he see him?

To add to Canicke's questions, how is he behaving? Active and alert, awake but lethargic, prefers to sleep during the day? These questions sound unrelated to feeding, but may help us narrow down the cause.
