Need help!! Lump in beard

My boy Walter is about 8 years old, never had health issues and is super happy and cuddly. About 3 weeks ago I noticed a small lump in his throat but it didn't seem to bother him when I touched it. It grew enough since that I took him to the vet yesterday...felt the size of a large grape. She thought it was an aneurysm and a sample would be bloody. Dark green liquid came out and she had no idea. I just had a baby and can't afford surgery or the full blood analysis. She drained 11mL and I got him antibiotics and anti inflammatoris. This morning I gave him his medicine with breakfast and there was no lump visible. I just looked in on him before bed and the lump is huge and visible again already. Anyone have any idea? I don't want him hurting but I don't have the funds for surgery to save him...if that's what he needs. Vet seemed to have no helpful advice. Can anyone help???

Sorry you are going through this, how is he today? It's a good thing that it's not an aneurysm but I have no idea what it could be. Dark green liquid sounds like some kind of infection. If he needs surgery maybe they can take a payment plan or maybe there is some sort of reptile rescue group near you that can help. He does need to go back to the vet though, at least to have it drained again.
