Hi, I have a juvenile beardie (6mths old) and I've had him for 3 weeks. I am having trouble getting the humidity to lower. I know it should be between 30-40 and it was at 60!!! So I removed the water dish and I bought a mini dehumidifier and put it right in the tank, but that only decreased the humidity to 55. I've heard rumors that if you put rice in a sock and put it in the tank it can lower the humidity as well? Just looking for safe ways and need help ASAP please!

Your humidity is fine-- you don't want it higher than 70%-- yes placing a sock w/ rice can help- stop stressing he will be fine-- it will go up at nite -- make sure your hygrometer is placed on the back wall middle-- it's going to be lower on the basking side of course - but 55% is fine-- is this during the day or at night

I am having the same troubles and it’s just stressing. Love the little creature and I want to take care of it. All day and night the humidity percentage has been 45-60. Rn at 56ish With the light off and a heating pad beneath. A small usb quiet fan pointing up from the grated top. I’m loosing sleep over it because I’m sure our dragon (Luca) is as well. Would love some advice ASAP if at all possible.

Ur humidity is fine, as long as the dragon isn’t getting wet every day its not an issue, i live in FL and my beardy spends some time outside.
