I don’t know what I am doing wrong but this guy just came into my car 4 days ago, all day long he freaks out and scratches at glass and jumps around, he even will scratch at glass at top of his basking spot and fall down and almost looks like he’s gonna hurt himself. Previous owner only fed him dried meals works and had him on repticarpet, I switch him to paper towels and got ride of a lot of the nasty decor and gave him a new basking rock/hide but he still is always freaking out. I go in and pet his back and he seems to calm down, he falls right asleep when lights go out and wakes right up in morning, his pooping tells me he’s eating some of his greens as he will poop out whole leaves. His urine does have some yellow build up on the white which tells me he’s dehydrated? He has access to water and I heard hornworms are super rich in water content which I try to give him 2-3 every other day He’s had a few dubias in my care but not biggest fan Like I’ve said I’ve only had him for 4-5 days, currently making a new enclosure for him but I’m scared to move him to it as he seems already super stressed. As for his lighting the only thing I changed from previous owner was the UVB I put in a tubular 10.0 reptisun bulb that covers most the enclosure. He has a 150watt basking bulb and a ceramic heat emitter on hot side. His hot side sits around 90 ambient and cool side 75-78 we leave the heat emitter on at night as he sometimes sleeps under it. Please help as I am worried I’m doing something wrong

Where is the UVB inside the tank or top of screen? What length is the UVB? I see a fixture on top but it is not the length of the tank ---- what is the surface basking temps? Are you taking those w / a digital probe thermometer- Yellow on urine is not dehydration but calcium -- what are you feeding for supplements? Urate should be firm white and moist poop firm dark and moist - dehydration is dried out looking or crusty

Poop is moist normally can see leaves in it and I’m feeding collard and turnip greens with shredded carrots with calcium powder I do not have a temp gun I have two digital thermometers on each side

Undigested food means surface basking temps are not high enough-
