Hi everyone. Im really trying to get my colony going and im short on cash so all dubia females on ebay are too expensive for me right now. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced place to buy or do any of you have extras youre looking to sell?

Hit up Craigslist! I have a gal down here in San Antonio that sells them to me for $1.50 each. It's been a few months since I've gotten any from her, but each time I've reached out to her she has needed to thin her herd, so to speak. If you need them cheaper than that... well check Austin Craigslist. It will be hard to find cheaper, it would really be one of those rare deals.

Just remember to be safe with it. Go make the exchange in a public place. We do ours at Starbucks. I think she was a little more worried about me than I was about her. I'm a bit of a flake.

I found my dubia seller from a facebook page I joined, it was a local closed forum. I got on and posted that I was trying to make friends with other beardie owners in the area...before I knew it I was meeting her at a gas station and paying $.13 each for 50 nymphs. I got 150 mixed bag this last time gonna try letting them grow and start breeding. She's very nice and we've met several times now
