I noticed recently that my beardie has yellow gums and immediately got worried that it is mouth rot. Before I spend hundreds on vet bills, has anyone used Nature Zone Rot Guard before? The reviews say it worked on their reptiles for a few people but I don't know if it is 100% safe for him. I also only noticed recently and have tried using very diluted chlorhexidine because of what I've seen other people try, but if this is safe I'd like to give it a shot and see if it could help my little guy.

I had some one look at your post and they have asked this

I haven't read anything good or bad about it so it should be fines as well as the chlorhexedine. I've heard that Maxi guard may help as well. Before you do anything though, can you post pics of the mouth or give a more detailed description ? Is the dragon eating or acting sick at all ?

He hasn't eaten a whole lot of greens recently which I can't tell if that's because of it being colder or his mouth or what but he has been eating bugs and salad without trouble other than, again, him just bein a picky guy. I also wasn't able to take the best pictures because I had to take them while keepin his mouth open best I could, but I think it shows what it needs to show anyways, although I might be able to try and take better ones once he's asleep and doesn't care about anythin

Can you get the mouth open a little more ! Some dragons just have gunky teeth but may benefit from a gentle toothbrushing.
