Welcome to my zoo of animals.

Let me introduce you to my furkids first.
I have a blue and white parakeet by the name of Pretty Boy. He's always interested in saying Momma all day long and when you answer him, he's quiet. It's like the kid from Family Guy (Stewie). LOL! He'll talk and sing your ears off while you're watching TV. He used to be obsessed over Judge Judy. Why, he said her name all the time around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Well, that's not true, he'd say it all the time.

Next is: Will. I'm not sure how old he is, but he's small for his age. Usually they're bigger and more handtrained. Poor Will's not. I can't hold him, no less coax him into a ball to exercise. I feel so bad for him, but there's one thing. I can't touch him, but at least I can try to make him feel happy. I can hold him if he's on me outside his tank whenever I get a chance. He's very active which is good.

Next is: The Trio of dogs. I've got a full blooded black lab, A Plotthound, and a hound mix. The black lab's Spike, the Plotthound's Sadie, and the hound mix, Pongo. Don't ask me where Pongo's name came from, but she was named by my brother's girlfriend. I named Spike. And Mom got Sadie. Spike had been homeless and probably mistreated before coming into our house. Spike's the biggest baby in the whole trio. Cries, barks, and talks. They all do except Sadie. All three were rescues of course. There's another dog who passed named Dollie. She's a tough old girl. I mean 'TOUGH'. She faced snakes and bears in our other house in the mountains. She survived a snake bite and overcame a lot of odds just like Sadie. Sadie had an accident, don't know how, but I have a feeling someone who hated us did this. Her diaphragm pushed up where it shouldn't have been and all her organs were in places they shouldn't be. We wanted to give her a chance, so she went under the scalpel to get her right. Someone had either ran into her or something. We still don't know what happened to Sadie. Also, Spike's legs were slashed once prompting me to call the police and no one came to take a report or anything. Apparently, a dog's legs being slashed wasn't any big news.

Next is: Snakey and Pepper. Both fish. Snakey's been alive for more than five years. He's outlived all my other fish. Pepper's new. Snakey's a eel-like Loach known as a Kuhlii Loach. He's only 3 inches. Pepper's a salt and pepper corydora catfish.

Pepper's passed away yesterday. I felt so horrible because he was so sweet. :(
