So excited. Joshua left for Grad school out in Iowa August 10. We havent seen him since. He is flying in tomorrow. Wont see him till Thursday, but we are so excited.
It's only for about 5 days and he isn't staying here at home :'( He is staying at his g.f's which I understand. I also want him to have time to see all his friends so I am trying my hardest to keep my mouth shut, lol! He will spend Thursday afternoon and evening here, then I probably won't see him again until Sunday for a little bit before he flies out Monday. Didn't realize how hard this would be, but I really miss him.
Nope...it is more important that he sees his gf and his friends. I am okay with that as long as I get some time. He actually should be landing in a few.
Congrats, Lisa. We've seen this firsthand with the twins' boyfriends. Seems everybody wants a chunk of time with them while they're home. Hard, but doable.
Good!! Whose feeding him? Where's he living? Hard to let our boys go. Wait until he gets married!! I knew Schelly would be back. But a son you give a way to another women. :-\
He rents a house with 4 other guys in Iowa. It is actually a really nice house and he loves it. One mile from school on the bus route. Being a student and a teacher he is pretty busy. He cooks for himself. Joshua is a great cook. Always loved cooking things while he was at home, but really learned a lot about cooking while he was living in Maine last winter. I do get call saying "hey mom...how did you do...", etc.
