Hello I’m new to being a bearded dragon mom. My little beardie Lily Loo is about 2 1/2 months old. She has hated baths since the first time I have given her one. She freaks out throws a tantrum and I’ve started holding her in my hand in the water because it seems she is a little more calm. She doesn’t like drinking water I have noticed so I know giving her a bath helps her soak up some water so she is not dehydrated. I can tell she is still upset with me. Is there any advice anyone has for baby bearded dragons and bath time?

Yep quit w/ the baths--- they dont need them unless they are actually drinking from the bath and if shes new to the home and surroundings all your doing is stressing her out more--- she needs time to acclimate to the tank and her surroundings --- she should be getting salads every morning rinse the salads before serving she is going to get most of her moisture from there --- also please gut load the insects your feeding her --- you can feed those insects carrots they are a good hydrator just dont feed Lily Loo carrots too as it is going to be to much Vit A--- get her some BSFL from here www.symtonbsf.com order medium rinse them off before feeding her -- use them as salad lures to the bowl like this https://www.amazon.com/MACGOAL-Rept...uGQB&pd_rd_wg=tLkwE&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_d
hand feed her a few of them then add them to the salad bowl in front of her this will get her attention to that bowl - feed as many as you want DO NOT DUST THEM they are calcium enriched -- and another great staple feeder a compliment to the main staple feeder-- after about a hr or so then feed her main staple feeder- those need to be dusted w/ calcium D3 5 x per week ONCE PER FEEDING and vitamin w/ beta carotene 2 x per week ONCE PER FEEDING- her poops should be dark formed and moist urate white formed and moist - extra water is good - you dont want dry or chalky looking urate -- she is then dehydrated here is a website for nutrition ignore the kale thing its a good staple feeder http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html
Did you buy a kit w/ Lily Loo ? If so did it come w/a coil UVB bulb?
