Beautiful little dragon! :) I know it is hard to do but your new dragon really needs a good acclimation period for the next 10 days or so. It's really best to try and keep handling down to a bare minimum during that time so that he can settle in to his new home and get used to it and his surrounding. Once he is settled in good there will be plenty of time for holding and showing him off to folks and he won't get as stressed in the process:)
Thanks for sharing the pics and looking forward to seeing many many more!
Enjoy!

most def will hold off. the pics of him in my hand was right after he got delivered shipping got held up by usps and took an extra day so wanted to make sure he was ok. i hand fed him a little bit of greens today and he ate them right up! he has been very active and been in the open and in n out of his basking spot all day long.

Thank you all. we decided to name him cj.

i also have a quick question, we also have a dog in which we have been keeping out of our room for our lil guys sake, she normally is always wherever i am, should we keep to this until a further date or allow her to come in as normal?

pic of cj catching sum rays after chowing down on some crickets

I would closely watch your BD's reactions to it. If it appears to be scaring or stressing it, then slow periodic\intermittent introductions may be necessary, to reassure the BD that the dog is not a huge predator & can not harm it while inside it's enclosure.
