Well the other day my girlfriend surprised me with two new babies, after my loss with Athena. They seem to be pretty healthy. They are still a little shy for now but I'm not surprised. The store owner said they are like 1.5 months old and that one will turn yellow and the other will turn orange. But from the looks of it I doubt that lol. I'm really surprised how long their tails are. They are already longer than Athena's tail was and they are like a month younger. I wish they weren't from the same clutch so I can breed them way down the road. I know some people say you can do that successfully with them but I think it's hardcore messed up. I guess I can just arrange a swingers party for them with some other beardie owners beardies lol. Otherwise I'm super happy to have them, their to cute to resist. Here's a pic of each of them. When they warm up to the camera more I'll take some better ones and post them!

So today I took the sand out right after I saw Hera start licking it. Thankfully I have a big box of old tiles laying around that fit in there perfectly. Right now I used top soil to keep them in place. I don't know if there is any special grout that has to be used for them. So I figured dirt would do for now. They love the X-Wing and Truck so I left those in there. They seem pretty happy in their new home now. Hopefully the black spot on Hera's beard will go away soon. I'm pretty sure it's just a stress mark. Otherwise here's some pics of the new setup for them. My new UVB fixture and bulbs should come in the mail tomorrow so I can get rid of that crappy coil bulb.

Most people don't use anything under their tiles makes it easier to take out and clean.

Yeah I figured, but there was a little gap in between them. I didn't want them to run around and pinch their toes.

Nice set up I would take the deep water dish out, if you want water in there a shallow dish would be way safer. Are you planning on separating them?

Yeah I need to go get a big shallow dish for them tomorrow. But I plan on separating them when they get bigger. I don't want to inbreed them so I need to separate them before they try to.

Yeah thankfully I went to Home Depot today and got all the materials I need to make them separate tanks. I had them cut the melamine board for me to save a lot of time. I'm in the process of building them now. I plan on tiling them still, so I'll post pics soon!

Heres a couple of pictures i just took. Their colors are looking great. When I take them outside on a sunny day she is bright orange. They are growing really fast. She seems to be growing faster than him, but she has a spot on her face that wont go away. It hasnt really shed yet either. His body finally shed almost 2 weeks later than his arms, head, and tail. Otherwise they are doing great and loving their new home. The second one is almost done so they will be seperate finally. They get along really well and have never had a problem yet. The only problem is she will steal his food out of his mouth if I dont seperate them to feed them. He is kinda camera shy still but heres a couple of pictures.

Thanks! Yeah they are just to cute sometimes. Yeah heres some pics of them in the first tank I made. They seem to like it a lot better now. I made their platform myself too. Everytime they are out of the tank they jump on the bobble head so I just stuck it in the corner for them.

They are looking really good! I hope that you consider harnesses for them as they are super fast and I would worry about them getting away from you.
