Ok, so I have what I am pretty sure is a male bearded dragon that is 7 months old and just about everyday I take him out of his tank for exercise. I put him on my bed or on my floor to run around and do dragon stuff and EVERY TIME he makes his way to my headboard where there is a mirror and looks like he is trying to walk through it! He doesnt head bob or arm wave like there is another dragon there he just walks back and forth and glass surfs the mirror. Anybody else have this problem???

The reason I say obsessed is because I could put him on the floor or somewhere not in the vacinity of the mirror and he'll run right to it. I guess I was just wondering if I should stop it or let him try to figure it out on his own or what.

But heres a pic of my baby boyy

As long as he's not showing any aggression toward it I wouldn't worry. Mine actually like looking at themselves in the mirror when I'm drying them off from their baths.

Next questions then. Has anybody found any good toys for your beardie to play with? Ive heard of ping pong balls but i was looking for other ideas as well! And for those who have had their dragons their whole life how big were they at 6 mo? Ive had people who have said that Vader is huge for his age and then people who said he is small. He is just the normal beardie you get from Petsmart

Every beardie is different as far as size goes. I felt like my boy was small and then one day at about a year and a half I noticed he was big. Where my girl I have always felt she was huge. I haven't found any toys that they like. Dexter used to have a stuffed animal she used to lay on but I can never get them to play with anything.

My Hef does that on my bed too. Soo funny. I don't let him get riled up tho . When they wave they're trying to acknowledge another dragon. Hef stopped waving pretty soon after we got him.
