Ok so today i took my beardie out to get some natural sunlight. It has been ab out 2 months since i have taken her outside... She seemed to love it, i had her outside for about an hour and when i took her out she was her regular tan/brown color (Common beardie colors). When i was about to bring her in she had changed from brown/tan to bright yellow and her head is white, also her beard almost black. She usually changes yellow outside or when i have her out of her cage for a long time so i didnt think anything of it.

It's been about 2-3 hours since i put her back in her cage, and i just noticed she is still bright yellow and her head is white and her beard still black. This seemed strange to me, because usually by now she is back to her common colors... She seemed a bit cold so i put her under her basking light to warm up... What should i do, any suggestions? I Dont want to freak out if it's nothing bad, i just want to knbow if this seems a bit odd to anyone else..

If you know if something seems wrong and know how to help i would GREATLY appreciate it! thanks!

this is normal after coming in from outside. when they are outside they are vulnerable and they know it. some take longer to calm down than others, but, nothing's wrong. she'll be fine

you did say it had been a few months so its almost like going outside for the first time. if you do it more often then the transition time will go back to the 30 minute range. ive had a few of mine stayed ticked off for a few days.

it's been my experience that depends on the animal. for some, it helps calm them down. for others, they just act crazy. either way be careful when picking up a blackened dragon. they can be abit pissy at first.
