My bearded is not eating. He hasn't for at least 3 weeks. When he opens his mouth, for whatever reason, I can sneak in some food. He will chew it and swallow most of the time. He just won't take it himself. Also I think he has an injured front foot. We don't have a vet in our area for lizards.

Welcome to the forum, can u tell us what kind of lighting and temps you have? These control the overall behavior of your lizard, how old is the beardie and what are u feeding it? Pictures would help is possible. (Compact coil UVBs are big no-no, bearded dragons need long tubular uvb and the fixture needs to have a reflector)

Wow I am using a coil UV. That is what came with my kit I got. That I will change right away. Right now all he will eat is meal worms. I can get him to eat a little sweet potato. The temp in the hot spot is 105 and the cool spot about 85. He is 5 now.

Please get rid of the coil UVB ASAP---- they are a health hazard --- please get this 24" this comes w/ the bulb https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/arcadia-prot5-uvb-kit.html or this
24" fixture https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/zoo-med-reptisun-t5-ho-terrarium-hood.html
this comes w/ a 5.0 bulb hang on to it use it as back up but the distance and placement is different from the bulb you need 22" https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/zoo-med-reptisun-10.0-uvb-t5.html
Your dragon will not eat w/ out proper UVB he cannot absorb / synthesize the calcium he is ingesting ---
Please post a pic of the front foot --- w/ out proper UVB the foot is not going to heal either --- proper basking temps which should be 95-100 taken w/a digital probe thermometer are a MUST as well ---
Please get rid of the sand -- it is very unsanitary and it harbors bacteria -- please replace w/ paper towels for now and you can replace w/ some textured ceramic tile or some textured NON adhesive shelf liner ---
You have a sick dragon on your hands and its the UVB that has caused alot of this --- please make the adjustments -- when you get the UVB please post back on here and I will help you get it placed in the tank - it requires certain distances and placement
