So I rescued these three bearded dragons last month who are almost 2 years old and spear to be sisters, although the guy said two went into hibernation and one didn't so she is bigger , and at first she would Bob and the other two would wave their hands and I didn't think anything of it because they weren't being physically aggressive but lately I've seen them biting the back of eachothers necks (even the little ones are doing it) and their beards get pitch black and they don't let go for anything I have to pretty much open their jaws. I can't afford two extra set ups for the others if I need to so I'd have to get rid of them which I don't want to do as I rescued them from family , but I will do it if I need to. I just got them a new tank aswell as the other one was really small , could they just be getting stressed out over that?

Hello, I would definitely separate them if they're being that mean to each other but are you sure they're all females? Also what size is there tank, could you show a picture of it?

I'm pretty sure they are , I checked and to me it looks like female parts , they're currently in a 75 gal (all I could afford at last minutes notice) but they came to be in a 37 gal , ignore the poop I haven't got to yet but that's them , the yellow leatherback is the bigger one , I plan on putting wallpaper and more hammocks etc inside the tanks as soon as I have the extra money tho

Okay a 75-gallon is a little small for 3 bearded dragons normally the max you can put in a 75 is 2 bearded dragons so they might just be getting a bit territorial. Also I would suggest getting a UVB tube light so they do not get MBD.

Yea like I said I just rescued them a month ago and was told they had everything so I didn't financially plan to redo their set up, they had no UVB whatsoever, and a 37 gallon tank with sand in it , you can tell they hadnt shed in a while either, I got them the biggest tank I could find on short notice , got the sand out , gave them a bath and got a double fixture and strong UVB, I do plan on a bigger tank and UVB strip bulb eventually. Before even in the smaller tank tho I never saw them bite eachother ever , it's just the past couple of days, could they be hitting a certain age where they're more territorial ? I don't want to seperate them as they seem to like eachother most of the time and cuddle together but if it'll be better for them I will do it

You definitely have to separate them. They are territorial animals. This is why I am against cohabitating even as babies it may look cute and adorable but what is happening is the dominate one is hogging all the heat and food. They will kill each other or you will notice a nipped tail or nails

I would defenitly separate them. And make sure the tanks are far enough away from each other, or have something in between so they can't see eachother.
