I don't think my dragon has mites since I havent witnessed any crawling creature on her body or enclosure. But I'm worried bout the "mites trapped between her skin"

Other than cleaning their tank and belongings thoroughly, how did u treat ur dragon? What products did u use tht was successful?

Do u think I should treat my beardie incase she has mites or I should avoid it by all means unless I witness crawling creatures on her?

Hi, dragons dont have mites. Unless they are subjected to them.

There are different products on the market to get rid of them.

What i have found to work.
1. Soak the dragon in diluted provodone iodine for 15 minutes.
2. Apply mineral oil on the whole dragon twice daily.
3. During this time use no cage furnishing and newpaper bottom. Clean cage with Nix diluted one bottle to one gallon of water. Spray complete cage, let stand for 30 minutes, thoroughly rinse with water and dry.
4. Apply mineral oil along the top of the cage to prevent mite escapes or entrance.
5. Mite tape on the feet of the stand the enclosure is on.
