Misting

How often should I must my babies? They really love it I mist them every morning is that too much or not enough? They have both shed once since I got them 3 weeks ago.

I personally never mist mine.... They get 2-3 baths a week. Greens with spaghetti squash everyday which gives them there water....... Spaghetti squash is 94% water.... Misting raises humidity........ Others will tell you 2-3 times a day........ But like I said I never mist.......

Lmao mine loves misting too. Never in his tank though. I put him in his bathing bin and do it when I have him out. He hams right up to it ....Otherwise humidity will become a real problem.

Yeah right now they are in a tank with a screen lid humidity isn't an issue. When I get the new vivarium ready I'll keep the humidity issue in mind. I just love how happy they seem to be when they misted.

Mine doesn't care for baths, but that mister is his bff! Lol

Mine don't like to be misted but Dexter LOVES to have the shower head running on her, she's so weird LOL!

I would encourage them to go into a bowl of water and use drips to encourage them to drink from the water took me months to teach mine to fmsrink from the water using a perpet to drop water. I did mist mine every lunch time though she loved it, dnt rod it any more she just has bowl water in tank that evaporates in air and she can drink when she wants.
