Hello!
So on Jan. 24th, I came home to my cat sitting on top of the beardie cage, with the screen ripped and no beardie inside the cage. I spent the whole day looking for Khaleesi but I could not find her anywhere so I sadly figured my cat ate her (Khaleesi was only 12 weeks old).

Yesterday I came home to Khaleesi standing in the middle of my kitchen, perfectly alive! When I picked her up, she seemed very frightened and a little thin, but other than that, in perfect health! I was so relieved to have her back.

Now for my questions;
Since she is a bit thin from being missing for two weeks, is there any type of supplement that I can give her to help give her health a boost? Should I leave her uva/uvb bulb on for 24hrs for a few days to help also? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW- I have a much better screen top for my tank so my cat will not be making that mistake again:)

WOW !!! i LOVE happy endings !! They trully are resilient creatures. Makes us love them even more. No - please do not leave the light on - they need the dark to sleep well. and - i'll bet she sleeps lots better back in her own bed and with a full belly! i wouldnt be too concerned about a supplement - get her some good grubs - dont let her eat too fast (she'll eat to much and maybe vomit it out). kinda like a kid after the flu - easy does it. you can try some organic baby food. dont forget to get some water down her - dripping on the nose so she licks it off (have you done that before?) she might also appreciate a warm soak - oh - and dont forget the hugs !!

Yea!!!! That is wonderful news!!! They really are strong critters!! I agree she needs the night to sleep. Get some yummy food Dubias, crickets, butterworms, waxworms those will add some moisture in her and good nutrition. Give her a good nice warm soak this will also help with hydration.
She looks really good for being gone for 2 weeks! Smart beardie for avoiding the prowling cat :)
Just continue the calcium then the multivit supplements and good greens collard, dandilion, kale type see the link at the bottom of our signature lines it will take you to threads with information like food item lists if you need.

So happy you found her!!!!! I agree with the others, give a nice bath and let her drink as much as she wants and then slowly feed her some nice bugs. It wouldn't hurt to give her a little bit of probiotic or bee pollen to boost her immune system. Don't leave her lights on let her get back on her schedule.

Thank you everyone! When I arrived home yesterday she wasn't holding her head up and hadn't touched any of the greens that were in her tank so of course I freaked. I went to the local pet store and bought Repta+Boost and I fed it to her from a syringe which she seemed to really enjoy. I then went out to dinner with my husband and by the time we returned home she was perky and hungry! I fed her some waxworms and kale and she seems to be just fine :) thank you so much for your help, she is my first beardie and I worry so much about her
