im thinking about geting some logs but 1s thay can climb on i was just wondering if i can just go chop one of a tree and if so could you tell me what i would have to do to make it save togo in my viv or would i have to buy one ?

edit : i would like to ask one more thing my calcium dust i use has d3 in it should i give them it every other day am i suppose to do that ?

If you harvest make sure its dry wood, soakin a bleach solution to kill any bacteria, the soak off the bleach solution, then bake in your over at 250 till dry, this process does smell like a fire by the way. ORRRRRRRR just buy it.

ok thanx just when i look to buy one i dont thike them there just not the shape i want will keep a eye out for one if not ill find a tree with a good shape :)

Dave, I'm not sure where you live, but I have always found unique pieces at specialty reptile stores and not the chains.

Mondo root is a prepared wood, that is also safe, and has wonderful twists and turns on them. This is normally used in soft fresh water fish tanks.

Just a suggestion, though they are pricey.
