MIke just called home and he has a coworker that no longer has the time to care for his uromastyx. I know NOTHING about them, or their temperament. Knowing Mike we may have another lizard. I told him to wait until I talked to the peeps on the forum who have much more experience with the larger lizards. Any thoughts?

Not only hot, but dryer than dragons like it.. you can offer the same veggies as staples that are on Veronica's list (beautiful dragons).
Hope that helps.

you'll love a uro, but I've found them to be picky about their enclosures. Lighting must be changed on schedule, and be sure to watch your humidity level closely during your initial set up and weather changes until you get the hang of it.

Doug Dix is the man that can tell you what for with these guys. You'll find him at deerfernfarms.com
