hi I'm brand new on reptiles and my Mrs has landed me in hot water by getting 2 beardies basically. The owner said he has had them together since they were young. He says they are about 2 yr old. I am going to build a new home for them but I'm concerned the female don't like the male as he's always bullying her aggressively pounding on her. Should I make two separate homes or carry on with the one house. Any info would help me lots thanks.

Hmm.. maybe you shouldn't, because I've read about alot of female Beardies getting Bad injuries from males by living together. Males are very dominant and I wouldn't want you taking the risk then her getting hurt or even dying. It sounds like she's already getting real bullied. If you really don't want them in separate tanks, take them out everyday and let them spend alot of time together, and hopefully they will become friends :D But really it's fine if your °Very Sure° They are fine together, I mean sounds like they have been together awhile but, He may just be a very dominant beardie that should live alone :/ Thanks And GoodLuck!

Separate especially since they are male and female. The male is always going to try to mate with her and bully her. Sounds like it may have already happened. You are going to need to be prepared. She will need a lay bin and if you want to keep the eggs you are going to need an incubator and more tanks to keep the babies.
