Making the most of a bad situation

Since Athena passed I have the opportunity to upgrade everyone. Athena came with a huge enclosure so Elmo will be upgraded to that. And baby Stormy will get Elmo's 40 gallon. Wondering the best way to sanitize everything.

Athena's tank is acrylic with carpet and wood. So wood is getting cooked in the oven to kill anything, carpet is getting thrown in the washer and the tank is getting bleached. What is a good dilution to sanitize?

Elmo's tank is going to be harder since it's all excavator clay. Not as worried about that since I know Elmo is healthy, but anyone have any tips on a way to do a deeper clean without ruining it?

Can't wait to see everyone in their new and improved living arrangements!

Go to the beautifuldragons website and look under disinfectants there is a great article on what to use for each situation.

Steam cleaners are the only thing that kills EVERYTHING. It's a great investment to have.
