He needs good basking temps 105-110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer -- a good UVB a long tube fixture like a Zoo Med or Sunblaster or a Arcadia Pro T 5 ---- right now I want you to set up a hospital tank like this
1633179363897.png

You need to do this ASAP--- go to your nearest Pet Smart or Petco and get this
https://www.petsmart.com/reptile/en...reptile-terrarium-hood-14902.html?cgid=500114 this is a T 8 you want either a 24" fixture if you can get it where you are that is a T 5 if the fixture is shorter its most like a T 8 either way get on or the other let me know what you end up w/ I will help you place distance the two bulbs are different ---- the bulbs are Reptisun 10.0 T 5 or T 8 bulb look on the box they will tell you next you need a bright white basking bulb like this
https://www.petsmart.com/reptile/en...nse-basking-spot-light-14809.html?cgid=500202 start w/ a 75 watt for a 20 gallon plastic tote --- you will need a screen or a clamp but you want it set up like this ---
you MUST HAVE THIS SET UP for him to start getting better this is CRUCIAL FOR HIM -- place the probe on the place he sits for basking leave there for 10 minutes or so then get temp ---- get this done ASAP -- when you get it set up post back on here and I can help you further

I can try getting him a bigger tank but the vet said he won’t make it so I’m trying everything I can but he’s not doing so good

Do NOT give up on him make sure the critical care is watered down --- he needs hydration please post a pic of him and the tank -- where is the UVB post a pic of him what tube are you using as well - we need the correct distance - is it a T 8 or T 5 and what are your basking temps and how are you getting them?
