losing there tails

Im just curious how easy it is for them to break there tails or when they would break them off? Im super nervous to ever touch his tail or pet his tail cause im so worried hes going to break it off. I also read that then the break off they dont grow back .

Unlike geckos, dragons tails don't drop at stressful events...
However, you did read correctly.. dragons do not regrow appendages lost.

Right, it has to be a high stress incident for a bearded dragon to loose part of his/her tail. An example would be getting it caught in an obstruction within his viv. Or a bite from another dragon/dog/cat.
