Long Time Owner

Hi all! I recently joined this site. Happy to see many users and current activities as opposed to other Beardie blogs and support sites. I have an Adult (Elderly) Beardie named Liz; 14yrs young! I've had her since she fit on my index finger. (I'll post that pick sometime) Happy to have already received some support and I'm not sure if she's at the end, but hey, 14yrs sounds like a pretty LONG time for a Beardie to make it so I guess I've done something right. Not to sound negative, but I will definitely continue to keep a beardie or two (next time) around as they're wonderful pets and my son may be perfect for one in a few years. Again, appreciate the support and look forward to the vast info and story sharing on here.

14 years old? WOW! That really is amazing! Can you share with us some of your basic husbandry? I'm a believer in that even a small difference in husbandry, over a long period of time, can provide vastly different results. Of course I also recognize there are intangibles such as genetics but hey, I'm really curious as to what your practices are, because they've obviously produced outstanding results.

Edit: On a side note Liz was born right around the time I was given the legal right to purchase alcohol. Now I'm just another old man. LOL!
