Well....Things aren't as great as they seem....I got up this morning and he has a black spot on the side of his mouth. It doesnt look like a sore, and its not raised or anything, its just black. Any ideas?...=(

Sorry for being so big but I had to go about a different method for uploading this time. I dont know what this is. He acts 100% fine, eats like a pig still and is still full of his little (BIG) personality. I'm really worried though.....I don't like not know what this is....

When I looked earlier, it does NOT look like a sore of any kind....Its just BLACK....And it happened literally over night?.... =(

Ok guys...I am SOOOOO sorry...I did some more looking, and bathed him thinking maybe it would help and I noticed after I bathed him, it was considerably smaller. So I rubbed it gently with my finger...The cuprit...black grout...LOL He's been rubbing trying to shed. I'm so sorry for overreacting but I'm just trying to do this right. I love my little guy.

Guess the thing to do now is clean the grout lines again. Apparently I missed some loose little specks. Thanks for all you guys help/concern.

:D

I'd rather see you "over react" about it, then honestly not giving a rat's @$$ about the little guy. When I bathe Gobi, I use a soft-bristled toothbrush and gently "brush" his 'lips', chin and even the top of his head to get any food particles off (seen and especially, unseen). Then, I use it to "massage" Gobi from top to bottom. He will actually fall asleep when I do that, so I have to hold his head up as to not let him uh... blow bubbles. But I also ensure that NONE of the water gets dribbled in to his ear holes.

I do the same thing!
plus I agree 100% with Missy! it's better to overreact than ignore it!!
