Hey guys so I have a problem you see in my list I had a some type of heating lamp but I don't know what the heat should be. let me put them in question
1:what should the temper should be in day at night for baby juvenile and adult
2:do I let the two type of lamp on all time
3:which lamp is for heating and which one give vitamin to the dragon and what are they call
4:does the basking place need any heating and what should the temp be day and night
5:the heating or the basking light does it need a color light or no

I just deleted your duplicate thread.

Temps for babies should be 110-115 in the basking spot and 75-80 on the cool side during the day. At night the whole tank can get down to 65 degrees and not be an issue. During the day you want to have a basking light and a UVB light, they should be on for 12 hours 14 hours at the most. At night all the lights get turned off. It's important for the basking area to be this warm for babies and the temps to drop at night to help with digestion.

The basking light gives you heat and the UVB helps the body synthesize D3. The body needs D3 to help absorb calcium. Warmth also helps with the absorption so it's best to have your basking area and overlap with the UVB.

Absolutely no colored lights! They have a sensor on top of their head called the parietal "eye" it senses movement and lights and shadow. It's how in the wild they know there is a predator overhead.
