Hello!

I have an 8 month old male bearded dragon and im currently in the process of upgrading his tank from a 40 gallon to a 75 gallon.

I have his basking light all up and ready, but I'm having difficulties with the UVB lighting.

Somebody on here previously recommended me the T5 Reptisun tube light which I thought I bought, but now that I'm looking at it again I bought the Reptisun T8 hood AND Reptisun T8 bulb.

Is that okay for a 75 gallon tank? If not can somebody link an amazon link in the comments a T5 Reptisun tube light & hood?

Thank you!

You can use it but you really need the T 5 -- its better for bigger gallon tanks -- I would get a 24" fixture w/ a reflector and the T 5 bulb-- that T 8 needs to go inside the tank w/ NO cover over the bulb and should be 6-8 inches directly above his basking decor - the T 5 needs to be inside the tank approx 12-15 inches from basking decor
