I have a uva/uvb tube light that I have on at all times. At night it is really bright. I have been wondering if at night, when the red light is on, should I turn the tube light off? I know that dragons need their time to cool off at night.

Dragons need almost complete darkness to be able to sleep, so you need to turn off both the uvb light and the red light. The standard day/night cycle seems to be 12-14 hours of uvb and 10-12 hours of dark.
Red light is also known to cause eye issues so I would get rid of that entirely. Use a basking bulb for heat during the day instead, and a cheramic heat lamp if it gets too cold during the night, they emit no light at all.

Yes to ^^^ Don't use any colored bulbs as they don't allow the pupils to function properly over time. No light on at nighttime 1 because they do need good sleep 2 they need the cool down for their bodies. As long as your temps don't fall below 65F they are perfect, if lower than that yes get the CHE to keep the temps in that range..
