Hi. I just signed up to the forum. Little bit concerned about our dragon. She's about six months old and everything has been fine since we got her. About ten days ago she became quite docile, staying in her cave and not eating much. She's doesn't seem to be losing weight.

We've had work done in our house which has been very noisy at times. I wonder if this has scared her? I think they can be sensitive to loud noise and disturbance. She's used to kids a lot and being handled.

Any thoughts?

Marzi came out of hiding a bit just now and leaned up against the glass watching me. Usually a sign she's hungry so I popped a few locusts in. She only ate a couple and now on her perch under the lamp. Trouble is, I think the bulb has blown :( Need to investigate quickly!

Loud noises dont really bother mine but i have a 4yo thats a bit crazy and an 8mo whos always going over to the viv playing with it. The viv is in our living room so i guess she may just be used to it by now.

Mine don't want to eat if my cats or dogs are around. Or if the stereo is on.

I uave my beardies in our hall and have two young kids 3 and 5 and they both take after me and r very loud. Wen we first got Diego i was shushing the kids all the time stopping them frim running in the hall ir playin in there incase it scared him. i felt mean on the kids and didnt want Diego to b frightwned of them so i stopped twllin them off. It took him a week or so to get use to the noise but he did. Now he loves the noise and the kids if we out all day n he hears the kids comin in he runs up n dwn the viv so excited its great. Then we rescued.Voris a while later. N he wentbfrom bein stuck in a room on his own only cin any 1 wen he was gettin fed so all he thought wen he seen any 1 was food so it took him a while of bein in our hall with ppl constantly walkin past to relise ppl dnt mean food. Now all. Boris wants is cuddles hes so sweet. They will b sluggish if there temps aint rite wot ur temps at cool end and basking spot? Does he poop reg ? Is he hydrated. To test hydration pinch the skin on his bak n if it stays up he needs some dluids if it goes bak dwn hes fine. Cud u post a pic of ur viv that may help :)

Marzi seems to have perked up now. Most of the work has been done in the house so it's rather quieter. She's back to her usual trick of knocking on the glass when she's hungry.

She's quite used to kids being around - plenty of them around here!
