Laying!!!

Hi I think my he maybe be a she as he has been digging in corners and climbing the walls... I've put a laying bin in which he had been diggin in and has got out and diggin in corners again. I read that laying bins should not be see through and I didn't know this before I set this one up do u suggest I leave it now his started to dig or change it as soon as I get to shops to buy new one??
