Lack of color on head?

Hello all,
I have noticed that part of my girls head does not change color really. When her entire body gets dark it's like this small section on the base of her head stays very pale. It's much more noticable in situations when she darkens herself up (like when we go outside). She has had this since we got her and I really didn't pay much attention to it until now. She's already shed that area as well so I know it is not that She is about to shed. She seems very happy and healthy, has perfect tempatures and set up. I guess I just want to be completely sure it's nothing to worry about, any opinions would be very much appreciated! I've attached a photo of the area on her I'm talking about.
Thanks so much

Well that's pretty interesting...So when you say she's just shed how long since she shed that part? Because to me that's a shed in progress and they can shed really frequently...just keep an eye on it and see if it continues, keep doing baths ... She's a growing girl :)

Id say it has been around 2weeks. I did go back and look at pics of her when we first got her and the area was not that pale. Would it be uncommon for the area to shed again in that amount of time?

Not at all uncommon to be honest she's growing and I know mine seemed like they were shedding all the time.. I bet that is what is going on..

That makes me feel much better. I thought it was looking much more pale today than usual. She's a little lighter in that area but never really that much. My first thought was maybe she's shedding but being a newbie I figured it was probably to soon to shed again and wondered if it was just becoming worse as she grows. We will start doing more frequent baths to help her out.
Thank you so much, you have helped me more than you know in the past couple of weeks. I've been full of questions lol but I am finally becoming more confident in caring for her properly.

Your very welcome as that's what we are here for to help others...We all started somewhere :) If you think about it she's getting lots of good food, good lighting etc so she is a growing machine and that's perfect..So her shedding is proof that things are going well :) Once she's an adult the shed will be VERY erratic for example: my Izzy she's year and 4 months about and the other day she shed 2 front toes (Just the toes not foot) and then she shed just the top half of her back from mid back up to her neck and the same on the belly. And now she's shedding her rear left leg from her knee down and across the bottom of the thighs and vent. And not long ago she shed an inch of her tail about half way in the middle.. Super strange LOL

Yes it is definitely strange lol. I am use to my corn snake getting it all over at once, it's much different for beardies I've noticed. And you were absolutely right, turns out our girl was going through a shed. I had noticed the top of her head seems to get a shade darker than her neck but never that bad. So when I seen that I was pretty nervous! Thankfully I was just over reacting. We have been giving her baths to help her during the process :)
