Keeping mustard greens fresh

I put them in a cup of water in the back of the fridge and they're crisper than when I bought them yesterday. This has been such a pain in the butt getting them every morning and by the end of the day they would be wilted and nasty. And throwing so much away made my trash can stink. Hef and I are very happy about this.

I wash and cut mine right when I get them and spin them in a salad spinner a few times to get the excess water off. Then put them in a plastic bag with a paper towel in it to absorb extra moisture. Lasts a week, or until they get eaten :)

A couple of times I had to go to Whole Foods to get mustard greens and they were so fresh that they still had little bugs on them, like they just picked them from someones garden!

Just looked I think Stoneridge is a Wautoma thing. Appleton has a Woodman's they might have it. You may need to start growing your own so you don't have to travel so far once you find them.
