I know there is no such thing as a perfect diet, but has anyone got a really good diet for juveniles? And if you're so kind to share, what do you change their diet to once they grow older?
I guess the perfect diet would be to offer variety. They tend to be picky eaters and will stop eating something if they get bored with it. So make sure there is a variety.
I don't limit their diets as they get older or feed them one day and not the next. Every day I offer a salad and bugs. My two year old will close her eyes and turn her head or just turn around and walk away when she doesn't want to eat bugs. My one year old is going through what I can only hope is a growth spurt. He's eating a full salad every day and about 20 superworms and a few nightcrawlers. He could easily eat more if I let him.
I give a lot of variety with Maya. I was pretty limited with Allie because she only ate so very little variety and was very picky. Maya's semi-picky and will try anything given to her. She loves her peach mango soy yogurt though. I know she's going to be disappointed when she feel better.
